I have ready the 14th scenario to be released. There are actually two versions, a long and short which should be released together. You will find them attached. Please let me know when I should post the announcements.

There appears to be a problem with the files. They appear to be exact duplicates. Both of the zip files contain the same "14-1YellowA2Short.SCN"

Hmm that's wierd. I'll check it out.

I've rechecked the scenarios and the two attached are different, with Long and Short noted in the titles. They are different in their scenario durations. In addition, there are less elements in the short version's ViConds. I've reloaded the scenario zip files, and as you can see, one is labeled Long, and the other is labeled Short. Let me know if you have any further problems.

14 The Gate of Grief - Long and Short Versions

Mideast/Southwest Asia/Eastern Mediterranean;
Arabian Sea/Persian Gulf/Red Sea:

The Mouth of the Red Sea:

Bab-el-Mandeb, or Gate of Grief in Arabic, is a strait between Yemen on the Arabian Peninsula, and the Horn of Africa. It connects the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden. The strait derives its name from the dangers attending its navigation. Modern day Yemeni pirates and terrorists supplied by the Indochines use this squeeze point and the Gulf of Aden to ply their trade of terror, and threaten the passage leading in and out of the Red Sea.

Local, Allied and International commerce traversing this vital sea gate rely on safe passage through these waters to exercise their right of trade. French naval forces, with the aid of some Spanish and British units, are tasked with removing this threat and supressing Indochine raiders.

This scenario offers two versions - a Long and Short version. The long version runs 23 hours, while the short version will run 15 hours.

Hey Herman,

Just a heads up. I've just about finished the last three scenarios for the 3rd battleset in my Indochine Campaign. I will release them seperately and with the requisite time interval between them. Then I'll close out this battleset and start working on the next one, which will begin the 2nd year of the war.
